small and medium sized businesses in Biggleswade and the surrounding areas.

Where We Come From
Dtex Consulting was founded by Paul Hyndman after working for the internal IT departments of two of the
world's largest and most prestigious companies: Ford Motor Company and Accenture (formerly Andersen
Consulting).
Starting as a graduate working at Ford Motor Company he quickly gained experience supporting the IT
infrastructure of both the engine and car manufacturing plants in Dagenham, Essex. He also spent time working
on large company wide database projects.
At Andersen Consulting Paul focused more on the networking side of implementation and support and this was
followed by a move to Servicenet, one of the Andersen Consulting/Accenture family of companies. Here he
concentrated on Project Management in an IT environment finally running the global Project Office.
Why We Exist
With the importance of Small and Medium Sized businesses in this country we feel that there is a gap in
the IT services available to them. While there are companies that may provide one or two services it is rare
to find ones that offer complete solutions.
